Carroll County Public Schools has adopted and implemented guidelines to reduce the risk of exposure to anaphylactic major food allergens in classrooms and common areas. The CCPS guidelines are modeled after the Maryland State School Health Guidelines (August 2023). The major food allergens addressed are milk, eggs, fish, crustacean shellfish, tree nuts, wheat, peanuts, soybeans and sesame.
